Simple planning ensures beautiful results. This is the time to discuss the details of your unique portrait creation & we’ll start with a few simple questions:

*Who will be photographed?

*Would you like the photography to take place in our studio or a location of your choice?

We want to design your portraits in a style that suits your personality and taste so we’ll discuss the emotion you want to capture and the fashion in which it will be portrayed. We are here to coach you thru the fine points of creating your beautiful photographic artwork.

Most importantly we will then advise you on the optimum wardrobe choices that will achieve exactly what you envision.

We can then set a date and time for your photography session. We try to avoid scheduling it when you are rushing to or from an appointment, school or work. Your fatigue will be noticeable in the finished portrait. Select a time when you can be relaxed and have fun!

The creation fee is paid at the time of scheduling so we can reserve our photographer and assistant(s) for your special day.

We will have discussed the details of this day at your design consultation so come ready to have fun – we will have everything prepared for you ahead of time.

For in-studio photography sessions your clothing will be placed in the dressing room for wardrobe changes and the salon area is perfect for your final touches.

Because we never overbook, you will not find people waiting in the reception area. The studio is yours during your scheduled session. There is no need to come early – we allow time for you to relax, unwind & change clothes upon arrival.

When your photographic session is complete we will schedule a date for your return to preview all the great images. Be certain that anyone who is part of the decision process is also available for this single appointment – they won’t want to miss it!

Though you are finished with your part of the creation we still have a long way to go. Your images will be prepared for your review in our state of the art editing room.

On the exciting day of your preview, we will have prepared a lightly edited version of your images on the “big screen” in the form of a beautiful slide show. You can see them much the way they would appear on the walls of your home or office. Be sure to bring anyone who is a part of the selection process – they won’t want to miss it!

You will have many wonderful images from which to choose, so we’ve produced an excellent method of portrait selection after which your order is placed and paid. It then heads to our art department where it is prepared to perfection.

Each portrait is hand painted to bring out the richness of the colors, shadows and highlights and to provide each subject with a flawless yet natural look. We employ only the services of the top photographic printers within the United States so we’re keeping jobs in our country while providing you with an impeccable piece of priceless art. Nothing leaves our studio that is less than perfect – that’s how important each piece of art is to all of us at That Photo Studio.

Complete it with a selection from our gorgeous line of custom frames and it will arrive ready to display on your wall. If you need assistance hanging the portrait we are happy to do that for you at no additional charge.
